Who we are looking for:
Are you the Clinical intern we have been looking for? In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth! JRI's Flexible Support Services program aims to help youth and families by allowing for their voice to be heard, empowering them through psychoeducation and education related to systems, enhancing relationships and family dynamics, advocacy, validation, and breaking negative stereotypes. Serving children and young adults through age 22 who present with mental health diagnoses, our staff support clients in improving their functioning within the home and community to avoid potential hospitalizations.
- Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Explore your clinical knowledge through use of evidence based and culturally competent modalities
- Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.

Requirements:
- Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the social work or counseling field.
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
