The Children’s Advocacy Center of Bristol County (CAC) is a program of Justice Resource Institute that serves the Bristol County families and youth impacted by sexual abuse or violence. Our program is a child-friendly agency servicing children and intellectually disabled adults who have been the victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or witness to violence. We are looking for a clinician to join our team!
The CAC is seeking a mental health clinician/ social work counselor to provide individual, group and family therapy to children and families who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, or witness to domestic violence. Clinician must be willing to be already, or ready to be trained in evidence based treatment models to support the unique needs of the individuals we serve. Bi-lingual clinicians highly encouraged to apply to meet need the linguistic needs of the community.
What we are looking for in our next clinician’s skills:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work is required
- Clinical experience with children and families in some capacity is required
- Able to work collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team.
- Acceptable CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and OIG background check.
