Mail Room Coordinator I
Overview
In this Mail Room Coordinator, I role, you will work closely with the Office Manager, Director of Operations and Templar and IT Staff.
Responsibilities
· Receive Client Mail and Notices from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) and sort according to type of mail received.
· Open and Review Client Mail and Determine the appropriate place it needs to be sent to.
· Open and review the IRS Notices and Determine what is kept and what is gotten rid of.
· Utilizing the Scanner Scan Client and IRS mail and upload to the Appropriate Location.
· Upon being added to said location separate and Upload to Clients File and Notify the appropriate parties who are involved with said client that the mail has been uploaded.
· After All Scanning is complete hold for appropriate number of days and the proceed to place in one of the 3 Shred Locations in the Office.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic computer software
- This position requires safe handling of sensitive client information and incoming MAIL
- Top-notch verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar and spelling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Self-sufficient, well organized, exceptional work ethic to meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and determination.
Skills and Abilities
· Self -starter, ability to thrive in fast paced atmosphere.
· Excellent organizational skills, and work ethic
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral
· Robust data entry, attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in tax resolution is preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in financial services, customer service, banking, legal services, or mortgage underwriting.
Hours of work: 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. Salary will be based on experience with room for advancement in salary and responsibilities.
