JusticeWorks is seeking an experienced School-Based Clinical Therapist to join our team and provide excellent mental health services to our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating interventions to students with a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns. The successful candidate must have a valid license in professional counseling and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of our students. THE QUALIFIED SCHOOL BASED CLINICAL THERAPIST WILL WORK DURING SCHOOL HOURS.
The qualified School Based Clinical Therapist will:
- Implement diagnostic skills by performing diagnostic assessments and formulating a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for clients.
- Develop measurable goals and objectives specific to each client and create a treatment plan to guide client’s services.
- Provide crisis counseling and intervention when needed at school, home and in the community.
- Participate in all individual and group clinical supervision sessions.
- Licensure in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related Behavioral Health field from an accredited institution for higher learning. Preferred LPC, LISW, LMFT, Licensed PhD, Psychologist.
- Will consider LPC-I, LMSW, LMFT-I actively seeking independent licensure, must have state board approved contract on file.
- Master's Degree required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
