JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing services to juveniles involved in the justice system. The Youth Development Specialist will work closely with juvenile offenders and their families to identify goals that will provide a safe and supportive environment, while helping to ensure that the juveniles comply with the terms of their probation. The Youth Development Specialist will monitor progress and provide guidance on a wide range of topics, including employment, housing, mental health, and any other matters that may arise. The Qualified Youth Development Specialist Will
- Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
- Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
- Associates Degree Required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
