JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Family Transportation Aide! As a Family Transportation Aide, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to the children and families we serve. You will work directly with caregivers, families, and local agencies to ensure that children and families have the transportation they need to access important services such as medical appointments, social services, and school. If you are passionate about working in the field of Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Social Work, this is the job for you!

This Family Transportation Aide will need to have their own vehicle and will transport families in Kent and Sussex Counties.
The qualified Family Transportation Aide will have:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, provided the age and safe driving record requirements are met.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
The qualified Family Transportation Aide will:
- Assist clients secure children safely in approved safety restraints as needed.
- Read and interpret electronic driving directions independently to plan the most efficient route service for clients and read and interpret road signs.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date vehicle records.
