PART-TIME MENTOR - LUZERNE COUNTY, PA
This Mentor will work mainly with male clientele.
JusticeWorks is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mentor. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships and providing guidance to our youth. You will empower them to reach their highest potential by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to develop life skills, create meaningful connections, and pursue meaningful pathways. The qualified Mentor will have:
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
The qualified Mentor will:
- Communicate and maintain relationships with county workers, families and community providers.
- Follow up as needed for to determine appropriate courses of action.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of service provision.
- Participate in events with the mentee.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
