JusticeWorks is seeking a Parenting Education Specialist! As a Parenting Education Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with families and individuals to provide support and guidance in the areas of parenting education. You will be responsible for teaching parents the skills necessary to raise healthy and happy children. This position will work with at-risk youth and their families to give them the guidance they need to be successful. This position will work mainly nights and weekends.
The qualified Parenting Education Specialist will:
- Develop and deliver engaging educational programs focused on parenting skills, communication, and family well-being.
- Provide individualized support to families, assessing their needs and connecting them with appropriate community resources.
- Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
The qualified Parenting Education Specialist will have:
- High School Diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
