Barback

Responsible for making sure the operation of the bar and restaurant run smoothly. Anticipates needs of bartenders and servers without having to be asked. Interacts with customers to relay key information and requests to bartenders or managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs guest service at the bar by making sure that all guests are seated at a clean and properly set-up bar/table, that all guests receive prompt attention, and that the bar/tables are cleaned quickly and ready for the next guests.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example
• Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction.
• Carefully monitors the store's operation and assists the manager in identifying and solving present and potential guest problems.
• Follows Barrio operational policies and procedures, including safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and guests during each shift
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Run food to the bar and tables in the bar area and dining room
• Clean and maintain restrooms throughout the shift
• Barbacks may not pour or serve alcohol.
