JustinBradley's client, a global leader in broadcast and streaming media, is looking for a Corporate Attorney to join their team! Negotiate talent deals for talent, drafting agreements and other projects and handle production legal for all production, clear all materials for productions, and other divisional legal affairs.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
- Negotiate and draft talent deals and agreements (including writers, directors, artists, consultants, etc.), option and acquisition agreements, studio facility agreements, commercial production agreements, and other agreements and amendments as required for television animation.
- Handle production legal for animated television and long form productions.
- Handle union and labor issues as they arise in conjunction with HR and Labor Relations.
- Provide general oversight of legal aspects of recruiting and staffing for production needs.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
Knowledge / Skills
Knowledge of animation production process and thorough understanding of the SAG, IATSE 839 & IATSE 700 collective bargaining agreements preferred.
