The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leading, coaching, and managing Scrum teams, facilitating seamless project execution, and driving alignment with strategic business goals. This role requires a proven track record in fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within cross-functional teams. The Scrum Master will play a key part in ensuring the teams are motivated, productive, and aligned with both short-term milestones and long-term organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Scrum teams in agile practices, ensuring effective project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Guide the team on creating, refining, and prioritizing features and user stories to maximize value.
- Balance perspectives from both Scrum Master and Project Manager roles, ensuring alignment between agile processes and project management objectives.
- Oversee the performance of projects or portions of larger programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and guidelines.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from design, implementation, and testing, ensuring milestones are met.
- Use program management tools to track project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate status meetings, report project progress, and resolve any issues or risks that may arise.
- Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment to help develop the team’s agile capabilities and maturity.
- Proficiency in using JIRA to track and manage agile work.
- Experience with application development, particularly with modeling applications (modeling experience is a plus but not required).
