Senior Product Designer

JustinBradley’s client, a global leader in media and streaming, is hiring a Staff Designer. The staff designer is responsible for developing compelling experiences and capabilities across the Brand’s Digital web properties, native mobile applications and connected tv apps. This role will shape a holistic messaging experience that harnesses alerts, newsletters, and email. In addition, this role will transform how our users manage and control their content and preferences, putting them in control of how the Brand delivers our world to theirs. This work in turn enables our client to grow, engage, convert, monetize, and retain our audience.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

• Leads and executes across all phases of the design process from conception to implementation to include (but not limited to) wire-framing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Leads large-scale highly strategic projects that are deemed business critical.
• Contributes to a clear vision for the future of design and demonstrates ability to implement forward thinking design.
• Transforms ideas of concepts into visually tangible flows and plans
• Builds collaborative relationships with internal stakeholder leads (product management, engineering, revenue) to ensure consistency with broader product goals and company objectives.
• Demonstrates strong understanding & implementation of internal design process.
• Leads team in framing and providing thoughtful solutions to complex design problems.
• Demonstrates influence across the organization, mentoring other individual contributors and leaders.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

• UX Design experience
• Experience with Figma.
• User Flow-Mapping
• Experience with Figjam.
• Experience with Userzoom, Optimizly.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

• Media experience or exposure.
• Strong visual design examples.
• Experience with news environments and content publishing a plus.

Soft Skills / Preferred Background

• Design portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design solutions, with an emphasis on identifying and meaningfully solving true user problems.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeve and get things done.
• Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
• Exceptional track record to execute on product design strategy, mentor designers, and partner with cross functional team members.
• Experience building world class product experiences, streamline workflows with continuous iteration and improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead user experience design, including usability principles, user research methodology, testing techniques, design theory, and interaction design.
• Solid prototyping and presentation skills.
