SUMMARY
Justrite Safety Group is looking for Warehouse Forklift Drivers for their Mattoon, IL operations.
shift hours, 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm, Monday- Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pull and stage freight for pickup by TL and LTL carriers.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Banding or wrapping of products or pallets.
- Verifying inbound freight is counted and correct per packing list.
- Ensure items put away in correct locations.
- Change batteries or propane as needed.
- Keep designated area clean and organized.
- Take large trash dumpsters in and out of the warehouse.
- Assist cycle counter in obtaining out of reach product if requested.
- Perform yearly physical inventories as requested.
- Other duties as assigned by direct or indirect management.
- Could operate a variety of equipment
- Standard forklift, reach truck, order picker, pallet jack, etc
REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting 6 to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to repetitively grasp, hold, the steering wheel.
- Ability to lift product (light or heavy) from skids and transfer to other skids.
- Twisting to see behind while driving backwards.
- Keep pace with production.
- Ability to repetitively get on and off the fork truck safely.
