A Reservations Specialist provides exceptional customer service by efficiently managing scheduling, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience for guests and artists. This role includes booking appointments through multiple avenues (text, call and email), maintaining accurate guest records, offering product and service recommendations, and supporting guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to calls and texts to answer customer inquiries and book appointments
- Recommend add-ons and services to enhance the client’s experience
- Manage appointment reminders, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Stay knowledgeable about services, products, and artists to answer questions and successfully maximize the schedule
- Assist with guest referral emails, social media, and appointment follow up
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficient in office technologies (slack, teams, outlook, internet, etc.)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Typing speed of 35 WPM
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Education & Experience:
- 3 years of customer service experience/retail
- Experience in hospitality, salon, or call center environments a plus
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods
- Open office or call center environment
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
