What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Delivery Driver - Out of Town position at JV Foods?

JV Foods is hiring someone to work in a small company, delivering farm fresh products to the most elite restaurants in the state. Some days will require picking up from local farms and suppliers.
3 days a week you will leave from the shop early morning, drive to Lake Charles and meet up with the Texas driver, unload the Texas deliveries from your truck onto the other truck then start your deliveries and pickups and head back to the shop.
One day a week will be required to drive locally making city deliveries and helping in the shop. Total of 4 day work week!

The position REQURIES the following:
- Ability to adapt to changes while on the route
- Open availability as the seasons change
- Must have at least a Chauffeur’s License (Class D)
- Delivery experience
- Willing to learn new routes and deliver out-of-town.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Cleaning truck weekly
- Follow directions, attention to details, have good work ethic, be reliable, and ready to work hard and have fun
- Present yourself in a professional manner
- Saturdays required
Closed on Sundays for time with your family, friends, football, fishing, or anything else that you enjoy!
