Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Hanger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing drywall in residential and commercial settings, ensuring a high standard of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a solid understanding of construction practices.
Duties
- Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit designated areas accurately.
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings using appropriate fasteners.
- Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth finish ready for painting or further treatment.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct repairs on existing drywall as needed, including mold remediation and water damage restoration.
- Assist with fixture installation and door hanging as part of the overall remodeling process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with masonry, construction painting, remodeling, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation practices are a plus.
- Ability to work in various construction site environments while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
