Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN)

JVM Solutions is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support the NASA-Ames Health Unit in Moffett Field, California. This role ensures to serve and protect patients by maintaining a safe and secure work and patient care environment.

This role involves providing healthcare services in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of care. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Supporting operational readiness through equipment inspections, supply management, and workstation maintenance.
• Assisting with business operations, including scheduling, patient correspondence, and inventory tracking.
• Documenting patient care using the Electronic Health Record System (EHRS).
• Preparing patients for clinic visits, taking clinical histories, and assisting with assessments such as vital signs, ECGs, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Administering medications and vaccinations (excluding intravenous medications) and performing basic procedures like ear lavage and wound care.
• Conducting CLIA-waived diagnostic tests and preparing laboratory specimens.
• Supporting health and wellness programs, such as flu vaccine campaigns and health fairs.
• Maintaining professional knowledge through ongoing training and development.
• Assisting with special events, emergency response, and other duties as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited community college, junior college, college, university.
• California State Vocational Nurse Licensure
• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience as an LVN/LPN in Occupational Health, Emergency Care, or related field
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted LVN/LPN license
• First Aide, BLS/AED, & ACLS
• Current certification in Phlebotomy

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
