Job Purpose
JVM Solutions is hiring Nurse Practitioners to support the Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Fort Bliss, TX. This role ensures that Service Members (SMs) are medically cleared for Mobilization/Demobilization (MOB/DEMOB), requiring strong clinical expertise, time management, and teamwork.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct medical examinations, provide care, and assess treatment needs for service members.
- Review medical histories, diagnose conditions, and determine appropriate courses of treatment.
- Maintain productivity standards, seeing an average of 4 to 6 patients per hour (SRP) and 2 to 3 patients per hour (SHPE).
- Order and interpret tests, X-rays, and lab results, ensuring abnormal results are reviewed within one week.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with regulations and professional guidelines.
- Facilitate service member access to medical care by recommending appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all records and reports are legible and complete.
- Complete outpatient encounters in MHS Genesis by the end of each day or within 24 hours.
- Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings, care conferences, and quality assurance programs, including peer reviews.
- Follow established government and clinical standards, including CDC guidelines, Infection Control protocols, and Joint Commission standards.
- Utilize telehealth technologies as needed and effectively supervise paraprofessional staff.
- Accurately record hours worked in Defense Medical Human Resources System - Internet (DMHRSi) or other required systems.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or AANP.
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in primary care medicine (e.g., family practice, general medicine, internal medicine).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, maintained in a current status at all times.

- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
