Full-time role, on-site in Woburn, MA. Ideally would like a candidate who has worked in the Home Service, construction or service based industry.
This client is seeking an experienced Financial Operation Accountant to manage financial operations. This role involves but is not limited to: bookkeeping, cost accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and payroll support.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping duties, including data entry and reconciliation
Post to the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records
Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for 2023, 2024, and the current year
Conduct cost accounting to analyze and manage expenses
Serve as the onsite accountant, overseeing all financial functions
Assist with payroll processing, as needed
Generate financial reports and support management in financial planning
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Utilize Successware for accounting, financial management, and reporting
Qualifications:
Accounting degree or equivalent experience
4 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (preferably in a service-based business)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Successware, Excel, and other accounting software
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and cost accounting
Experience with payroll processing is a plus
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work onsite in Woburn, MA
