Construction Superintendent
JW Construction Services is seeking a CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT for building construction, new, remodel, and retail. Qualified applicants must possess a command of commercial blueprints and experience with all phases of construction. Candidates must also possess strong knowledge of commercial building codes and regulations. The best candidate will be proficient with email, scheduling software programs, and various forms of electronic communications. This position is eligible for annual bonuses.
Qualifications:
1. At least five years of project supervision, construction supervision, or related experience.
2. Physical Labor may be required
3. Computer skills, including experience with email and file storage.
4. Excellent verbal and organizational skills.
5. Ability to multi-task and to meet critical project deadlines.
6. Have a valid driver’s license.
7. Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Start and finish project(s) on time.
2. Manage a project schedule.
3. Supervise each of the trades to realize completion of the project.
4. As approved by PM: resolve any on-the-job field issues.
5. Interview, supervise, and assist sub-contractors.
6. Facilitate weekly project and safety meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
