What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Installers position at JW Floor Covering Inc.?
We seek commercial flooring installers: foremen, installers, and apprentices to install heat weld/sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl planks, glue-down pattern matching carpets, and carpet squares. Our job sites are large commercial projects where you will encounter other trades. Workflow is coordinated, and safety is a must on these sites. Safety apparel is required to be worn, including a hard hat and highly visible colored clothing. Solid-sole boots or shoes are required to prevent foot punctures. Safety goggles and other PPE and proper tool conditions are also required.
The flooring crew consists of a foreman, installer, and apprentice. Crew sizes will vary based on the size of the job. The working hours will typically be a day shift, but some projects are worked overnight or on weekends. The hiring managers can be more specific about the weekly working schedule.
