Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our US operations and drive innovation in measurement software implementation.
Location & Schedule:
• Base: Sterling Heights, Michigan - USA
• Travel: Domestic and international as required
• Start Date: Within 1-2 weeks of offer acceptance
Training:

Through this extended training period, typically lasting several months, you'll have the opportunity to develop a robust foundation in our specialized engineering processes while simultaneously integrating into the JWF team. This approach not only enhances your technical proficiency but also ensures a smooth transition into our collaborative work environment.
Core Responsibilities:
• Commission new and retrofitted test benches
• Configure measurement and evaluation systems
• Install and maintain databases, servers, and networks
• Perform equipment calibration and troubleshooting
• Analyze test data and implement improvements
• Conduct training for internal staff and customers
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
Required Qualifications:
• Degree in mechatronics or related technical field, preferred
• Experience in special machine construction
• Knowledge of automation systems (Siemens, Fanuc)
• Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Proficiency in reading electrical/pneumatic drawings
• Valid driver's license and ability to immediately obtain passport
• Fluent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Programming knowledge (C, C , C#)
• German &/or Spanish language skills
• Certified technician qualification
• Experience with precision tools and soldering
