Position Overview: Senior Sales Representative, USA and Canada
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Representative to support our expanding operations in the USA and Canada. This role focuses on acquiring new business while nurturing and maintaining our current portfolio. You will leverage your expertise to grow the Froehlich brand using advanced sales techniques and modern marketing skills.
Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic sales plans. You will also ensure exceptional service for existing clients, maintaining long-term partnerships.
Your ability to analyze market trends, understand customer needs, and develop innovative solutions will drive our business forward. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective marketing campaigns, utilizing digital media to enhance our brand presence.
As a Senior Sales Representative, you will represent JW Froehlich at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, showcasing our products and services. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for closing deals and securing contracts.

Business Segment
Leak Test Units: Comprising approximately 80% of our sales focus, we will prioritize the promotion and distribution of our high-precision leak test units.
Assembly Machines: Representing about 20% of our sales focus, we will intensify our efforts to increase sales by enhancing the marketing and promotion of our advanced assembly machines. This initiative will be executed in close collaboration with, and bolstered by, the dedicated support of our Germany sales team.
Location & Schedule
Base: Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
Hybrid Option: While there is no requirement to reside in Sterling Heights, candidates must be willing and able to visit the Sterling Heights plant as needed for team collaboration and other purposes.
Travel: Domestic and international as required

Core Responsibilities
- Drive the acquisition of new customers.
- Strategically expand market presence in the United States and Canada.
- Explore and expand into new markets by identifying potential opportunities for growth.
- Conduct thorough market research to uncover emerging trends and potential areas for business development.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and new clients in the automotive industry and others through regular communication and follow-up.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Identify sales opportunities by researching industry trends, analyzing competitor activity, and staying informed about market changes.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by presenting product offerings, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Demonstrate a results-driven approach to achieve revenue growth and explore & engage new market opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B business
- A technical background is required, with a preference for experience in the leak testing or industrial automation industry.
- Excellent and demonstrated negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
- Masterful communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth while exploring new markets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems is preferred.
