This role is for Swing Shift only - 6 month Full Time Temporary position!
Role:Performs a variety of skilled tasks, installation, repair and trouble shooting work involved with all aspects of buildings, facilities systems and equipment. The list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Skills/Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Three to five years’ experience in a resort preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
Able to solve problems using trouble shooting skills.
Understand the basic skills needed for guest room maintenance.
Responsible for the safety of him/her self and others.
Knowledge of MSDS, Occupational hazards and applicable safety hazards.
Knowledge of basic methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work.
Ability to operate power tools.
Ability to communicate read and write in English.
Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times both internal and external.
Ability to maintain work orders.
Ability to accomplish tasks within strict deadlines.
Ability to continually seek improvement in results.
Skill in diagnosing and repair of equipment utilized.
Required Certificate/License
All certificates are a plus.
Must have valid Nevada driver license.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Insures that buildings and equipment are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition in accordance with Health and Fire regulations.
Performs basic functions that may include; carpentry, glazier, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, masonry, safety, security and sanitation.
