ROLE: This position is responsible for detecting activities and behaviors that are in violation of company policies or procedures or federal, state, and/or local laws or regulations. Observes games on video monitors to detect illegal activity, maintains accurate and complete logs, makes clear and usable video of the games to settle disputes and for use in court, if necessary and other duties as directed. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. S Kills/Qualifications
Working knowledge of the following gaming areas/activities is essential to the effective function and responsibility of the surveillance operator.
Live games such as: blackjack, craps, roulette and other
“specialty games” the property may have on the casino floor at
any given time such as, various versions of poker.
Operational procedure knowledge of other departments including but not limited to: cashiers cage, soft count, hard count, slots, security and pit operations.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Good telephone skills including the ability to transfer
information gained verbally to a report.
Dependable attendance is very essential.
Report writing, and some ability to use office equipment.
Experience in the use and operation of digital recording
equipment preferred.
Required Certificate/License
High School Diploma or equivalent required
21 years of age is required.
