We are recruiting for a 3 - 5 year Quantitative Research Analyst for a Leading Systematic/HFT Client to join their existing Quantitative & Systematic Trading team. This hire will join one of the most exciting Systematic Global Trading Companies and will leverage the Firm's cutting-edge AI & Systems within their Proprietary Trading Group. This mid-level Quantitative Research hire must come with expertise creating alpha signals and tools within US Cash Treasury & Futures (FI, FX, EQTY, Commodities) markets. This is a Front Office position which requires experience.
As part of this team, you will help design, develop & deploy trading strategies as part of a larger team of 10. Proven expertise expertise in C and Python is required for this highly collaborative role which will interact regularly with the Firm’s technology & trading experts who will ultimately manage the implementation & production processes.
In this role you will:
- Develop & deploy profitable systematic trading strategies in US Cash Treasury and Futures FI, FX, Equity and Commodities markets -- groupwide
- Manage their specific trading strategy including design & research
- Significant work with team in C and Python
- Collaborate with the team’s technology and trading experts for production implementation
- Expertise w CME Futures (all asset classes), Cash US Treasuries
- Experience within High-Frequency to Mid-Frequency (with overnight) trading experience & track-record a MUST
Must Have Qualifications:
- High-Frequency to Mid-Frequency (with overnight) trading experience & track-record
- Minimum of 3 yrs active systematic trading experience with full discretion working within a Proprietary Trading, Quantitative/Systematic Trading Fund or Hedge Fund
- Proven experience with Alpha Signal generation within the Futures or Treasury Market
- Experience working with a Portfolio Manager (must cite track-record and Sharpe)
- Strong C and Python programming
- Comfort working w/ Linux framework with code repository management important
- Ideal candidate will be very collaborative, motivated with a curious & creative mind
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) essential
- Bachelors in STEM or EE or CS with Advanced Degrees preferred (MS, MSc, MFE, PhD)
- This is a roll up Team and so, growth is within the portfolio group vs carve out
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and be full-time, in-office
