Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day field surveys.
- Lead field technicians in data collection in accordance with project scope.
- Assign daily tasks to field technicians.
- Coach and motivate field technicians, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
- Communicate regularly with client representative regarding issues and progress.
- Document daily activities, issues, and progress on daily report.
- Monitor project goals and objectives.
- Ensure all survey equipment is working properly and properly maintained.
- Review data daily to ensure quality and compliance with procedures and project scope.
- Be responsible for crew, equipment, and proper data collection.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Treat all co-workers, business partners and land owners in a courteous and professional manner.
Education and Experience:
- AMPP/NACE CP1 Certification Required (AMPP/NACE CP2 Preferred)
- 3 Years minimum experience performing indirect inspections: Current Attenuation (PCM), GPS, Depth of Cover, CIS, ACVG, DCVG, Soil Resistivity.
- 2 years minimum experience managing field crews
- McMiller G1 or American Innovations Allegro Data Loggers
- Trimble Data Loggers
- MS Excel & Outlook - intermediate proficiency
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role has significant customer contact.
Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work for long hours outdoors and have the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- This position requires the ability to walk up to 6 miles a day while carrying a 25-pound backpack.
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to travel 4-5 weeks at a time, with one week off at home.
- Ability to pass background check and drug testing.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
Compensation based on experience, knowledge, certifications and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
