What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Engineer position at JW Speaker?
ABOUT THE POSITION : This position is vital to the success of our production operations, helping to ensure we are exceeding the needs of our customers and providing outstanding, quality-made lights.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE : You'll have 7 years of Quality Engineering-related experience within a similar manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive, medical, or aerospace industry, along with a Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or another Science-related equivalent. Having an ASQ certification as a CQE is preferred, along with an understanding and experience of ensuring compliance to Regulatory Requirements. You completely understand ISO 9000 and IATF standards and are familiar with using statistical analysis tools and software, Metrology / CMM, and GD&T. Though technically savvy, you also enjoy communicating and training others on the importance of meeting quality standards.

You will EXPLORE by :
- Developing, maintaining, and improving the J.W. Speaker quality requirements and standards, ensuring flow-down and compliance in all Zones including Molding, SMT, and Assembly.
- Working with NPD, manufacturing engineering, and operations to ensure flawless new product launch.
- Managing, monitoring, and maintaining customer portal requirements including metrics, CCAR, and ECN.
- Developing and maintaining direct relationships with customers regarding quality issues, including interfacing with OEM customers for J.W. Speaker product related issues.
