We're looking for an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team in Johnstown, PA.Essential DutiesPrimary accountability is in support of projects to assure weld quality of parts to the customer drawing or specification requirements.Will help to facilitate problem-solving and issues.Education LevelActive CWI credential requiredExperienceExperience in a metal manufacturing environment.Ability to read and comprehend complex diagrams, blue-prints, weld symbols, and written / verbal instructions.Familiar with AWS Welding codes.General knowledge of quality inspection tools (micrometers / calipers).Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms, including reaching overhead and outward frequently. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee will frequently lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
