Job Description
JWF Industries is a growing metal manufacturing company, continuing to expand into defense & other markets with long-term work. We are seeking a Software Information Systems Specialist to join our team of professionals in Johnstown, PA. This is a corporate role responsible for developing & supporting ERP and other related software at all JWFI locations throughout 1,000,000 square feet of metal manufacturing space.
The work requires a level of knowledge generally attained through a Bachelors degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered.
Essential Duties
- Assist in maintaining ERP system
- Develop and troubleshoot custom applications
- Maintain Microsoft SQL environment
- Communicate with end users to identify and address software related issues
Education Level
Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related is preferred
Experience
- Basic understanding of ERP systems
- Application development experience in VB.net
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of basic manufacturing concepts a plus
- Above-average level of effective written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks on the fly
Work requires a high-level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to self-manage frequently changing priorities
Physical Demands

The individual is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The individual is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The individual will frequently walk. The individual must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Salary : $55,700 - $70,500
