Property Management Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support our property management team in the day-to-day operations of managing residential and commercial properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations:
- Help coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Support tenant onboarding processes, including lease preparations and move-in/move-out inspections.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update property management databases and records.
- Prepare and distribute notices, letters, and other communications to tenants and vendors.
- Assist in billing/filing for properties
- Property Maintenance:
- Schedule and coordinate regular property inspections and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory of property supplies and equipment.
- Marketing and Leasing:
- Assist in conducting property tours and showing units to prospective tenants.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
