Shop Helper

The Shop Helper will be assigned to various duties in the Service Department that interacts, participates and assists the effective operation of the shop.  This is a Monday - Friday, (part-time) first shift position. 

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00/hr. (depending on education, experience, knowledge, skill set, etc.) 

Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

Shift Premium: Any hours worked/work performed Monday - Friday, 5:00 p.m. - 5:59 a.m., and/or any hours worked on weekends (Saturday/Sunday), will be paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of shop

• Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning bays, emptying garbage, etc.

• Deliver parts as quickly and efficiently as possible to shop and mobile service technicians (who are working off site at customer locations)

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of shop

• Pull trucks into and out of the shop as directed by the Service Advisor(s)

• Must desire the opportunity to learn the business and grow within the business

• Must treat customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner

• Other duties as assigned to support and increase technician proficiency/efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• General mechanical knowledge or aptitude required

• Valid driver’s license is required

• Ability to lift 75 pounds

• Ability to drive a forklift
