Job Summary :
The Truck / Trailer Vinyl Graphics Installer is responsible for applying vinyl graphics, decals, and wraps to trucks, trailers, and other large vehicles. This role involves precise and careful application, ensuring that all installations meet the highest quality standards. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship, aligning with company values of honoring commitments, creating positive experiences, and demonstrating good stewardship.
Key Responsibilities :
Vinyl Application :
- Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces before installation.
- Accurately measure, cut, and apply vinyl graphics, wraps, and decals to trucks, trailers, and other large vehicles.
- Ensure proper alignment and smooth, bubble-free application of vinyl materials.
- Use various tools such as squeegees, heat guns, and knives to achieve professional results.
Quality Assurance :
Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet company and client standards.Address any issues or imperfections during the installation process.Perform final quality checks and touch-ups as needed.Team Collaboration :
Work closely with design, production, and other installation team members to ensure project specifications are met.Provide feedback and suggestions to improve installation processes and techniques.Customer Interaction :
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.Provide guidance on vinyl care and maintenance post-installation.Represent the company professionally during on-site installations.Maintenance and Safety :
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during installation work.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications : Experience :
Experience in vinyl graphics installation, preferably on trucks, trailers, or large vehicles is helpful, but not necessary.
Skills :
Strong attention to detail and precision in vinyl application.Proficiency in using installation tools such as squeegees, heat guns, and cutting tools.Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different vehicle surfaces.Education :
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in graphic installation is a plus.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and maneuver large sheets of vinyl and equipment.Comfortable working in tight spaces and at varying heights.Company Values :
