Job Title: Warehouse Repair Tech
Warehouse Repair Tech Job Description:
This Warehouse Repair Tech role is specifically designed for our Buyback team. This team handles incoming devices from schools and will help to determine the best use of the incoming devices. This employee will also play a large part in ensuring we have the parts we need to complete repairs. They will work through best practices, and repair and sort devices from the each individual buyback.
The Warehouse Repair Tech will modify, repair, and/or improve existing electronic products, equipment, and components.
Warehouse Repair Tech Responsibilities:
- Tear down full devices for individual component parts.
- Helping to organize our warehouse for all incoming bulk items.
- Efficiently process all product to prepare an order for a sale.
- Repairs, installs, and inspects devices electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
- Exceeds company standards around repair timeliness and quality of repair for each device.
- Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
- Manages and installs cables, wiring, and parts as needed.
- Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronic devices.
- Performs quality control checks to ensure the functionality of each device is at a satisfactory level.
- Maintains and follows safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components.
- Develops and maintains records related to devices, parts and repairs.
- Creates and maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
