Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Parking Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while managing the parking operations efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to hospitality, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations at assigned Location(s)
· Work onsite for a minimum of 40 hrs. per week
· Ensure attendants follow personal schedules
· Report any disciplinary actions to Operations Manager
· Provide support throughout the day to team members to ensure they get appropriate personal breaks
· Provide continuous training for all team members
· Provide support as first line of defense for K-7 Parking Company
· Escalate issues appropriately to Operations Manager
· Ensure appropriate daily staffing at all responsible locations
· Ensure all employees at the assigned location(s) are in uniform and fit for work
· Assist Operations Manager in completing the weekly safety log
· Assist Operations Manager in completing weekly operations log
· Be proficient in any application technology used in operations
· Assist Operations Manager in constructing weekly location(s) work schedule
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with parking their vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide valet parking services, including retrieving vehicles promptly when requested.
- Maintain an organized parking area, ensuring that all vehicles are parked according to company policies.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding parking procedures and any special requests.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments for parking services.
- Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns, delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of guests and their vehicles.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in valet parking or as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction in hospitality settings.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills.
- Experience working in a dealership or retail environment is a plus.
- Comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
