Pet Sitter

K-9 & Katnip Pet Services is a professional pet care provider looking to hire a part-time pet sitter. The ideal candidate should be a passionate animal lover who is honest, self-motivated, dependable, and hardworking. We seek someone available 3-4 days a week, including occasional weekends. Availability to work on holidays is a requirement for this position. A strong team player is essential!

Our visits can be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., with weekday walks typically occurring from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Greater flexibility in your schedule will allow for more earning potential.

While overnight stays in clients' homes from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. are available, we are looking for someone who would be open to doing overnights for clients they see routinely.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields(preferred)
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and maintain insurance on the vehicle
• Work outside in all types of weather
• If having a very structured environment is what you thrive best in, this is not the job for you
• Our daily work schedule varies from the next
• MUST BE WILLING TO HELP AND COVER SHIFTS/VISITS FOR OTHERS SHOULD THE OCCASION ARISE. OUR TOP PRIORITY IS MAKING SURE THE CLIENT/PET IS TAKEN CARE OF.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet care including feeding, grooming, and exercising animals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets under your supervision.
- Follow specific instructions for each pet's care, including medication administration if required.
- Drive to different locations to provide pet sitting services.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' well-being.

Requirements:

• Must have a smart phone with unlimited text and data
• Must love dogs(all breeds) and cats
• Must be flexible
• Must be willing to make a commitment to work at least 6 months for the company
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
