Dog Groomer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. A successful candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments with care.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and cleaning equipment after use.
• Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions.
• Keep detailed records of services provided and any special notes regarding the pet’s behavior or health.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
• Experience in dog training or handling various breeds is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.
• Excellent animal handling skills to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions.
• Attention to detail in grooming techniques and overall pet care.

Compensation Package:

• Commission pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Dog Grooming: 10 years (Required)
