Responsibilities & Duties::
- Lead the on-site execution of EPC projects, ensuring alignment with project plans, schedules, and specifications
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to ensure efficient and safe project delivery
- Manage project schedules and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful completion
- Prepare and present project updates, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders, to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and submit daily reports that indicate site construction personnel, tasks completed, material received at site, document site visitors, report safety inspections/incidents, etc.
- Provide job site safety oversight, including development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and regular safety reporting
- Track, inventory and log material deliveries, including reporting of any overages, shortages and damages
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, document quality control, and comply with safety standards
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with project engineers, project management, and stakeholders to address challenges and implement solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, including regular coordination with the client’s on-site construction management representative
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to support project success
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on all job sites
Qualifications & Skills::
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in the utility or energy sector
- Demonstrated expertise in substation construction or similar EPC projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in construction (OSHA, NESC, etc.)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software and construction scheduling tools
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required
