We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scheduler II to join our team at K&A Engineering in Leland, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Responsibilities & Duties::

Role Expectations:

  • Responsible for the scheduling of engineering design activities, deliverables, and resources to maintain the engineering work management program.
  • Works closely with engineering superintendents and supervisors to ensure deficiencies are identified and requirements are known to start and complete projects and activities on schedule.
  • Coordination of activities between plant groups is also required.
  • Monitors projects and activities to ensure milestones and delivery commitments are scheduled and provides management with reports on resource allocations.
  • Provides all team updates on P6.
Qualifications & Skills::

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, project management, or equivalent. PMI or AACE certification (the following or equivalent are acceptable - PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of project controls scheduling experience using primavera (P6)
  • Knowledge and use of several work management databases to complete the function
  • Expertise with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications / analytics; employee development; strong collaborative team member; oversight
  • Proficient in Area Schedules and work plans
  • Able to travel to various locations – mileage will be charged
  • Provide own transportation and own lodging
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (minimum of 3 days in office)
