We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team at K&A Engineering in St. Louis, Missouri for Summer 2025. Role Expectations:
- Assist and support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical skills within the utilities industry
- Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering and Distribution Planning
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation
- Complete training on assigned tasks
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related degree
- Time management skills, with the ability to handle various responsibilities while meeting strict deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- In person Internship! Must be able to report to the St. Louis Office
