Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing clinical operations, providing guidance and support to staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients. The Clinical Supervisor will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to foster an environment that promotes recovery and wellness. Our agency works primarily with the refugee population, so experience working with refugees is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing ongoing training and support to enhance their skills and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Oversee crisis intervention strategies, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to manage client crises effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to mental health counseling and behavioral health services.
- Facilitate team meetings and case consultations to promote communication and coordination of care among staff.
- Provide direct clinical supervision as needed, ensuring that all interventions align with best practices in social work and mental health counseling.
- Maintaining adherence to clinical guidelines set forth by Idaho Medicaid and Magellan rules/ policies.
- Working closely with clinical director to ensure program compliance/ training, and ongoing needs amongst staff.
Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the field of behavioral health or addiction counseling.
- Experience in mentoring staff and leading teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of crisis management techniques and systems related to mental health services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Relevant licensure or certification in social work or mental health counseling is required.
