Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. We need someone who can jump in with a minimum 2 years experience cutting grass. We service around 45 high end homes per week. Along with bed work, mulching, stone, and basic cleanup skills. Must be able to drive with NYS license and have a great backbone of basic landscape skills. Year round work is available or seasonal until December, your choice after hired. You will also be trained in our pond/water garden division with Koi, goldfish, and waterfall building fun! Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the landscaping crew to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Fuel machines and cut lawns with commercial gear
- Supervise 1-2 people and train new hires and younger staff
- Mulching, weeding, pruning, all basic landscaping work
- Take notes and meet with the owner daily to go over routes, billing, etc.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care
- Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Drive a trailer backing up, loading, and safe habits
