Key Responsibilities:
The Laboratory Director will work under the direction of the Laboratory/Division President with guidance from the Laboratory Director. They will oversee Clinical Lab staff, Supervisors- Microbiology, Processing, Cytology, Histology, and other employees involved in patient specimen testing. The role involves maintaining compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and other applicable regulations. The Laboratory Director will also orient, evaluate, and document competency of testing and specimen processing personnel. Additionally, they will establish, maintain, and revise departmental policies and procedures, including quality control, quality assurance, and safety.
