Job Description
The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for exams, including positioning, scanning, and image acquisition.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
- At least 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital setting.
