Job Summary:
K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to perform and evaluate test procedures, assist in test method selection, and participate in staff education and development in our beautiful coastal Maryland location.
About the Role:
- Perform and evaluate complex medical laboratory tests, including routine and special testing procedures.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate test methods and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through a recognized accrediting agency is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
