Java SDET

We are seeking a skilled Java SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. As a Java SDET, you will design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks and suites for our applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and related tools.

• Design and build robust test frameworks for APIs, UI, and backend testing.

• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with developers to create testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and defect reports.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve the software development process.

• Debug, triage, and isolate defects efficiently.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards across projects.

• Analyze test results and work closely with teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in automation testing with strong Java programming skills.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.

• Experience with REST API testing tools (like REST Assured, Postman).

• Good knowledge of database testing (SQL queries, validation).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo).

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (like JMeter, Gatling).

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).

• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Splunk, Kibana, etc.
