Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Customer Engagement Manager / Account Manager with over 15 years experience in the SAP/IT consulting industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solutions, exceptional client relationship management skills, and a proven track record in driving customer satisfaction and business growth. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between our clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of high-quality SAP based projects. You will work directly with the customer and the project manager to oversee project execution, meet deadlines, and ensure that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trust-based relationships, and understanding their goals, challenges, and needs in the context of SAP projects.
Client & Internal Communication: Ensure effective communication between customers and internal stakeholders, including the project manager, business analysts, and development teams. Responsible for sharing updates, tracking project progress, and addressing concerns promptly
Project Management & Oversight: Lead and manage SAP projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Deadline Management: Take full responsibility for ensuring all deadlines are met, both internally and externally, and that any risks to timelines are identified and mitigated in advance.
Leadership & Team Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that project requirements and timelines are met. Provide guidance and direction to project teams to maintain focus and drive results
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and enhance client satisfaction.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify any issues or roadblocks in the project lifecycle and work with internal teams and clients to find solutions, ensuring project momentum is maintained.
Business Development: Identify and leverage opportunities for expanding the scope of services offered to customers, contributing to revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, aiming to maximize profitability while maintaining strong client relationships.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key account metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
15 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including project management or account management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Engagement Manager, or in a similar role within the SAP/IT consulting industry.
In-depth knowledge of SAP products and services.
Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Experience with CRM software and MS Office suite.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
SAP certifications.
Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Knowledge of IT Service Management and project management fundamentals.
