What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Representative position at K & B Manufacturing?
As a Territory Sales Rep, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in machining and sales to manage and grow existing customers as well as cultivating and developing new accounts. A minimum of five years prior experience in machine shop sales is required. Must have strong organizational skills as well as proficiency with all Microsoft Office products. Travel within the ArkLaTex area will be required to maintain and develop accounts. Join our team and contribute to our commitment to precision manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing customer base.
- Develop new customers by cold calling and use of your existing customer base.
- Use your abilities to read prints as well as your machining background to develop quotes to deliver to customers on a timely basis. Follow up after quoting to get PO.
- Work with management and purchasing to smoothly coordinate work flow and timely delivery of all orders.
- Resolve customer conflicts using effective communication skills and coordination with management.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Must have a clean driving record and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work efficiently with all levels of customer and company employees.
