Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our team. The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of inventory within the warehouse. This role involves tracking stock levels, ensuring proper storage of goods, and performing regular inventory checks. Additionally, the clerk will be actively involved in loading boxes off trucks and organizing them within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in this environment. Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels
• Perform regular physical counts of inventory
• Update and maintain inventory management systems.
• Load and unload boxes from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Organize and categorize incoming stock in the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate storage and handling of goods.
• Implement and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide support for shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure company knows how much product we have at once and where the product is.
• Perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse space utilization and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting
• Involves manual handling of boxes and products, including loading and unloading from trucks.

Requirements:

• US Work authorization
• Driver's License
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
