Overview
K. Bellavance Land Works & Hauling is looking for an experienced Paving Operator located in Barre Vt. The Paver Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an asphalt paving machine (paver) to spread and level hot-mix paving material on various surfaces, including road ways, parking lots, and driveways.

- Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate Paving Machine:
- Safely and skillfully operate the asphalt paver, follow all standard equipment procedures.
- At least 1 years of experience
- Team Worker Attitude
- Pay is based on experience
Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including traffic control, and awareness of surrounding hazards
Coordination:
- Work closely with other construction crew members, including dump truck drivers, and screened operators, to ensure efficient operation.
General Labor:
- Perform general laborer duties as assigned, such as shoveling, raking, and cleaning up debris.
Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and crew members
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques
- Ability to stand, walk and perform physical labor extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions , and be able to follow instructions
- Must have a valid drivers license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
